Acted as mediator, adjudicator and arbitrator on disputes with disputed values up to ZAR 24 million.
Preparation of claim referrals for adjudication.
Determination of construction claims.

• Adjudication of a claim for an extension of time of 57 days and costs of ZAR 2.6 million under a contract for the resurface and upgrade of an athletics stadium to a Class 1 IAAF standard. The contract between the parties was based on the SAICE General Conditions of Contract for Construction Works Third Edition (2015).
• Advisor to Employer on a claim for an extension of time and additional costs of ZAR 10 million under FIDIC 1999 (Red Book). The contract was for the construction of a 80 Ml/day mine water treatment plant with a value of ZAR 1 billion.
• Adjudication of a claim for unlawful termination and an extension of time and costs of ZAR 24 million under a contract for the construction and rehabilitation of a provincial road. The contract between the parties was based on the SAICE General Conditions of Contract for Construction Works Third Edition (2015) with a contract value of ZAR 65 million.
• Adjudication under the CAASA Rules in a dispute between joint venture construction partners with a disputed value of ZAR 9 million. The contract was based on the SAICE General Conditions of Contract for Construction Works Third Edition (2015) with a contract value of ZAR 115 million.
• Preparation of various claim referrals to adjudication on a major power project under NEC3.
• Mediation related to general building works.
• Arbitration of a contractual dispute based on SAICE General Conditions of Contract for Construction Works Third Edition (2015) and under the Standard Procedure Rules of the Association of Arbitrators (Southern Africa).
